Designing for Manufacturability

Today's machine control systems featuring integrated and easy-to-use servo drives with built-in motion controllers deliver a wide range of rich capabilities that can significantly enhance productivity in manufacturing environments.

Ethernet-based communication, online programming, simulation software and superior resistance to electro-magnetic interference (EMI) are just some of the capabilities that deliver quantifiable benefits.

Read Designing for Manufacturability to get an overview on how these and other capabilities can help machine designers build superior performing machines faster, and more cost effectively.

Kollmorgen Stepper Motors Recognized as 2012 Control Design Magazine Readers' Choice

The votes are in and Control Design magazine readers have spoken – Kollmorgen stepper motors are named #1 for technology excellence in their category!

Making this event even a greater honor, the Readers' Choice awards are the result of an unaided survey of subscribers who have authority to specify, recommend or purchase industrial automation and control products.  Hardware and software categories are listed without any list of vendors, and participants are asked to indicate the single best vendor for the products he or she has experience with.

Kollmorgen high-performance stepper motors deliver precise, cost-effective and maintenance-free motion control that make them an excellent alternative to pneumatic, hydraulic and servomotors systems in many applications.
